I call myself a “Dreamer.’ I dream for myself, my family, my colleagues, and our Society well- being. My background was a very middle-class lifestyle in India which drove me to work hard and reach to this dream land called America. As an Entrepreneur, I learnt how our associate’s lives are directly related to our decisions. I also learnt how to contribute to the society. I am blessed that; God has showered me with the ability to help the poor and needy.
I am known as Mark Bordoloi within the social as well as business community. As a Postgraduate in Advertising and Communications management, at the very early stage I learnt the importance of being part of the society. I was recognized by Bhupen Hazarika Foundation with Firingoti Award in the year 2014 for the entrepreneurship initiatives. I was also awarded a Certificate in recognition for community service by Assam Association of North America (AANA) at it’s annual Assam Convention in Washington DC, 2018. The journey of an entrepreneur is not easy, but it taught me how to be disciplined and mindful.
I have been a social person since my childhood. I took lead in organizing Cricket Tournaments and offered Free classes to the students during Summer vacations. The time has come to rise above our capabilities and contribute towards every aspects of social and personal developments.
For a short period of time, I contributed my service as General Secretary of Naamghar Association of America. I am thankful to the Assamese Diaspora for believing me and my capabilities. Currently I have been associated with Assam Association of North America (AANA) as Executive Vice President for the period 2019 – 2021, International Partner, USA for World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) – As an affiliated partner of the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI), the World Business Angels Investment Forum is committed to collaborating globally to empowering the economic development of the world and Executive Member, USA Chapter for Federation of Indian Industry (FII) – Federation of Indian Industry (FII), a not-for-profit organization, is an advisory interface between the Government and Industries. FII is an active and established associate of a number of consultative boards/committees’ groups designed by Govt. of India and the State Governments.
Since the day I landed in the United States, I have been a resident of New Jersey. The Garden State has taught me how to enjoy all the Four Seasons of life and Appreciate God’s creations.
Mark Bordoloi is a Start Up Entrepreneur with diversified business and social interests. Currently, he is the founder of Ekodus Inc., a New Jersey based Information Technology and Solutions Company.
Mark Bordoloi also founded YMOC.COM, an online Meal Ordering portal currently active in North East India.
